CASTOR BIO INFO:
Castor (aka Keith Ross) began his production ventures in 98' with close friend Jeff Harrell. At this time he had already made a name for himself as drum and bass dj and was playing his newly created dance floor monsters for BASS hungry audiences. It was during 02-04 that Castor had begun making his mark in drum and bass by producing music good enough to get plays from such established acts as John b, Pendulum, Gridlok, Juju, Concord Dawn and others. In his earlier days of writing dnb his sound reflected inspirations such as Ed Rush & Optical, Konflict and Bad Company. His music carried heavy and dark dance floor elements. As his career progressed, he found there to be more to the genre and began exploring its other variations. It was then that Nu_Electro owner John B found a new artist for his label. Castor (taking a breather from dnb) had been djing electroclash in night clubs in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. About that time he heard some newer John b tracks that had a combination of dnb and electro (two sounds dear to his heart) and it was then that he knew he would try it out.
The results, "Emily" & "Le Metro" have been firm favourites in John B's Electro/DnB hybrid sets worldwide in the last 6 months, and have finally found their way onto vinyl. Emily is a militant 808-led drum&bass speed electro-stepper, with sexy American girl vocal narrative throughout telling the story of Naughty Little Emily. Le Metro is a 4/4 electrodisco beast, more suited to the conventional electro/techno circuit. Both tracks have attracted a lot of attention out on the road and are the source of a lot of general internet buzz.

PC. Reason. fell in love. made a little tune about it. got noticed by john b. nu_electro.
