Nottinghill Carnival’s only pure drum ’n’ bass soundsystem.

    Sounds good to me.

    Will definitely be reaching this.
Last year I was at CMC until digital soundboy started, then was there until breakage started playing some shitty screechy dubstep. So we went back to cmc but it was fucking rammed and not particularly pleasant and the time we got back to digitial soundboy it was good again.

    brool story eh

so what's the deal with the carni? have you just got a load of different dub soundsystems in the streets or in various venues dotted around the area?

We always take beers there. Paying £3 for a warm can of Red Stripe on a hot day is not my fave.

Eat loads & then drink some more.

Plus this year it's Carni on the Sunday, Bass Heavy @Matter that night, couple hours kip and then back to Carni on the Monday.

You'll love it armed. Dont listen to any scare stories coz there's far too much bullshit spoken about it. Just go on the sunday if you're a little faint-hearted coz there's less pushing and shoving.

CMC/Matrix is a joke. The speaker stacks are too far apart and the sound's shit (that's when the power's on which wont be all day). All the big names have stopped playing there and the lack of reggae/vocal tracks is a joke. I say bring back the Trouble on Vinyl crew! Also a few years back it became perceived wisdom to stop the music whenever there was a fight which gave the perpetrators too much power and now it's stop/start for most of the day. The only way to fix it is to have security in the crowd and evict the tossers but that aint gonna happen.

Fuck em I say vote with your feet and go to the Digital Soundboy set up. Where are they based anyway?

I do remember shit selection, but I don't remember the fights at CMC :teeth: The main issue with DSB is that I actually can not tolerate screechy shitty wobbley dubstep. I mean some people can wait it out, I can't.

Went last year for first time on the Sunday... had such a good day I went back on the Monday and it was even better! Also spent very little money by bringing booze with me

I also wasn't impressed with CMC/Matrix... it was by far the worst sounding system there.
