Vestax DJ Competition Room
The 10 lucky finalists will battle it out in a continuous mix from 21.00 – 02.00 in the second room @ The End in front of a prestigious panel of experts and the audience!
Each contestant will have 30 minutes to show us something we have never seen before! The next finalist will mix straight in.
At 02.00 the competition will be over and the judges will retire to The AKA Bar and decide the winner, who will be announced at around 02.45 in the main room. For details on how to enter & what prizes can be won, keep reading!
Whilst all this is going on sounds will be supplied until the end of the night from OLLIE TWIST & JASON and DJ SWING.
ONE WINNER WILL GET THE FOLLOWING:
<sum> 1 x Vestax Mixer
<sum> 1 x Vestax Handytrax.
<sum> DJ Contract with UMC DJ Agency.
<sum> 1 return flight, accommodation and set at Movement in Portugal courtesy of STA Travel (terms and conditions apply).
<sum> UK-wide coverage in DJ Magazine along with 6-month progress report and picture.
<sum> DJ Magazine goody bag containing magazines, slipmatts, record bag and T-Shirt.
<sum> Three main room sets at Movement @ Bar Rumba in 2004.
<sum> One set at Movement @ The End in 2004.
<sum> One set in the Movement tent at an outdoor festival in 2004.
<sum> One set at Movement/Vestax DJ Competition Final in 2004.
<sum> Movement goody bag containing: Movement back catalogue CDs & 12”s signed by Bryan Gee, T-Shirts, slipmatts and a signed Test Press of the new Movement EP out December 8th.
<sum> Themselves + 1 for every Movement @ Bar Rumba for 2004.
<sum> Four guest mix sets on Movement Radio in 2004.
<sum> Winners diary on Movement website.

The 9 losing finalists will receive Movement Goody Bags and a warm up set in the bar for Movement @ Bar Rumba.

HOW TO ENTER:
1. Record an amazing and unique 60-minute mix without an MC on it.
2. Record it on CD and CD only.
3. Write your DJ name, contact email and mobile number on the ACTUAL CD.
4. Put the CD in a case and post it with a photo of yourself to: Movement/Vestax DJ Competition 2003, c/o Bulldozer Media Ltd., The Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London. E1 6QN.
5. Make sure it gets to us by Friday November 7th 2003.
6. Bryan Gee will notify the 10 Finalists on Friday 14th November 2003 by telephone.
7. If you are one of the 10 Finalists you will be expected to make your own way to and from The End on Friday 21st November for your set (set times to be decided by lots).
8. No CDs or photos will be returned.
9. Movement’s decision is FINAL. No correspondence will be entered into.
