Tell people about any new music, movies, tv programmes etc that you think people may have missed out on. May have been done before I don't know. Share the knowledge.

I recommend strongly the new MF Doom produced album John Robinson - Who Is This Man ? only available here at the moment I think http://www.hhv.de/item_148306.html

Also try Flying Lotus if you like experimental kind of hip hop. I recommend the movie No Country For Old Men if you havent seen it and if you like travelling Peru is a brilliant place to go

PopChop, crazy hiphop/rap remixed with 80's stuff. Ace stuff. Liking the Flying Lotus stuff, nice one.

Films, yeah recon No Country for Old Men is my top film for 2008.

    Noob.

    Games

    Fallout 2
    Planescape Torment
    Saints Row 2

    Music
Cypress Hill (you ain't a junglist if you're not down with the hill)
    KRS-One (ditto)

    TV
    Only Fools & Horses
    Battlestar Galatica - new edition
    The Wire
    Futurama

    Films
    Anything with Beat Takeshi/Takeshi Kitano
    Coen brother films
Oliver Stone films (even though they distort the truth)
    Japanese yakuza films
Anything by Kurosawa - actually just buy them all and watch them.
Almodovara films - gay but good
    Commando - greatest film ever

    Books
Anything. Just read (who was it on the forum who had read one book in his life despite being 25? It being a SAS 'book' as well). I'd recommend Bertrand Russel's History of Western Philosophy just to fuck with your mind if you haven't read much in your life.

I could spend all evening recommending excellent things but I don't have the time.

Oh and Prison Break is utter balls - apart from the first season.
