Noises from HDTV...

I'm using my HDTV as a computer monitor (it's bigger than my screens.) My monitors are fine, but screen sounds like an F1 car at the best of times. It's a Tesco own brand one, 23 inch, so is it just cheap or is there likely to be an earth problem, or interference from monitors?

not sure if this is your issue, but i just had a problem yesterday with noise coming through my monitors when i plugged in my tv (as an external display). problem was solved by a simple grounded plug adapter (3-prong to 2-prong in the USA)
