tried finding some theards about this with the search but no real luck

Want a pair for work, theres normally light machinery on. so they need to actully do a good job of isolating! would like them to have decent build quality aswell if thats gunna happen for my budget. looking around the 100 notes mark give or take abit.

Any responses would be appreciated

I always recommend shure se215s to people ive had a pair nearly 2 years and still going strong, awesome sound. The fit isnt for everyone though.

Thumbs up for the 215s they sound great for the price, not sure about build quality on them, the cable near the ear bud seems to break alot. . I've had 3 RMAs on them.

I was worried about build quality before i bought them, read a forum were a few people had had issues but mine havent skipped a beat. After 3 returns you should of demanded some 315s :)

the sennheiser cx range i've found to be decent. particularly the 400's. can get them a lot cheaper that rrp on amazon/ebay also.
