"Further to some of the questions about Sanctuary Outdoor, we can confirm that there will be no Sanctuary in 2011.

The reason for this is simple: the 2010 event was not profitable, and as a small, independent company with no external financial backing, the events we put on need to make a profit in order for the company to be able to con...tinue what it does."

"This principle applies to all our events, and you'll have noticed that there's also no Tranz-mission this year.

Believe us when we say that there's nothing more we would have liked to be putting on Sanctuary this year but it's simply not possible in the current climate."

Tranz-mission is worth goin to once I'd say - if you like your drugs...The atmosphere is good and the waltzers are jokes when you're lickd etc etc...but I couldn't see myself going these days. The place is just too big to put a decent system in and it did sound embarrassingly shit - that's why you need some dizzdizz etc. Loads of chicks tho.

Sanctuary just never really appealed to me tbh. Wouldn't turn it down if I could get in free though.

But yea, bad times for promoters. The last thing we'd want to see now is them raising the prices of other normal nights to compensate for losses on nights like these. I don't think this is a recession anymore. It's a fuckin depression

I said at Sanctuary last year that I couldnt see there being one this year- purely because of how little money they mustve made, during the whole event it was hardly ram jammed in any of the arenas and tickets went on sale at £50 for the weekend- absolute bargain for a messy weekend, just too good to be true I guess.

You could tell they were trying too make up for money as soon as they said no alcohol was allowed from outside, it all had to be bought for £35 a crate inside.

Proper shame, I really enjoyed it, pretty good vibes throughout- have to find another event worth going to which is more DnB based, any ideas?

looks like now they are having a poll between NYE NEC, Tranzmission and One Nation @ Brixton. NYE NEC is probably gonna win.

Hi there! I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions for other big hardcore events like Tranz-Mission that will be held this year, preferably in or nearby London? Maybe not exactly the best place to ask for considering this is a DnB forum :censored:, but it's still worth a try I guess?
