Oh my god, this. This 100 times.


The intro was nice... I LOVE the vocals, they are absolutely superb...

And then BERM-BUM-BERM, BERM-BUM-BERM, BERM-BUM-BERM
That lead chord just kills it for me.

Fuck.

That guitar riff and the flute is just so nice and lush, then it goes completely in the gutter at the two minute mark.

this is one thing that happens to some songs just when the producers just did the switch from big old analog studios to total ITB production. no mackie desk + emu, just logic on a macbook, it takes a few years to get that up to scratch again. i remember a c4c track that was pretty good, trance and bass kind of thing, and on the drop the compressor mashes the entire mix to shit. technical issues as well as weak song writing.
