SPLICE & SALVAGE
Oh My God! / Warface / Multi Function / Surface Audio
The two DJ's/Producers where introduced to each other early 2010 and instantly hit it off and became good friends sharing their passion for music and all things Drum n Bass.
Salvage is Currently co-owner and resident DJ of one Manchester biggest Drum n Bass Nights, OHMYGOD! and recently in 2011 saw the birth of OHMYGOD RECORDS! and OHMYGOD ARTIST MANAGEMENT AGENCY! Salvage has been performing as a DJ for over 4 years now and frequently plays in and around Manchester but his passion for music started long before that. Since been a young teenager he has performed in several bands as a drummer, worked in studios across the UK, studyed Music Performance and Production at College/University and is now working closely with Splice on some new tunes.
Splice isn't so much different from Salvage. A promising young musician whose chosen instrument was lead guitar. The young star quickly became addicted to performing and toured the UK in several bands. He soon realized that Music was his calling in life and in recently years has been studying Producing and Performance at College and University. He soon became interested in the Drum n Bass scene which kicked started his DJing Career. He frequently plays at most major Drum n Bass events in and around Manchester and this year his production has seen him signing his first release to 'Multi Function Records' with 'The Rush EP' and a new deep and experimental banger named 'Erazor' forthcoming on Surface Audio.. Plenty more releases up and coming on various other Labels.
The Duo have been smashing the scene together and you can expect major things from the two at this event!

CENTRIK

Centrik is originally from a small town called Farnborough. He found a passion for drum and bass in 2005 when he first heard Fabio and Grooverider on Radio 1. He came across the liquid side and has never turned back. Now he is trying out different ideas like the deeper side of drum and bass and is doing a lot of experimenting with his music.
Centrik has been producing just over 3 and a half years and djing for 5 years. He plays out a lot in Reading, London, Birmingham, Woking, Camberly he also plays at Adjusted Audio's nights in reading at Bar Mango.

ANTAGONIST

Antagonist, (Formerly LFO) is a 21 year old Manchester based up and coming Drum and Bass producer/DJ focusing on minimal, dark, rolling drum&bass.. Antagonist brings a whole new meaning to the words deep, minimal and meaningful with more experimentation than you could ever possibly wave a stick at..
He also runs Nemesis Recordings (see: http://www.facebook.com/pages/NEMESIS-RECORDINGS/133574557500?sk=wall) which has seen releases from a completely different side of drum&bass from artists such as Prestige, Cabbie, Origin and Silver amongst many, which shows this guy has true diversity within the scene..
Antagonist also runs an event named 'Pandemik' which features all kinds of militant beats.. this set is not one to be missed!

3PIN

Some of you may already know 3PIN via his alias 'Jinjah Assassin'.. Regardless to say, with hundreds of gig plays under his belt and a production style like no other, this guy knows how to move both the crowd and the subs on your speakers!
Hailing from just down the road in Shrewsbury, Nick also plays a weekly show on www.shedbass.com, Mondays 8-10pm GMT with features guests regularly and some of the dirtiest, darkest drum&bass going..
Expect no less than a sub rocking, dirt drenched diverse set from this bad boy.

PIXEL & MC SLIMIFY D

Surface Audio head honcho and producer of many a sub-genre, Pixel's style is untamed n' always changing and his mixing techniques are no different..
He's the brainchild behind Surface Audio so you know this act is going to be full of dubplates, be them deep, dark, techy, experimental and everything in-between!
MC Slimify D's journey into the lyrical side of drum&bass began in 2007 when Pixel offered him his first show hosting at a small night in Oswestry, Shropshire named 'The Atomik Sessions'.. since then he has shot up into the scene, picking up residencies at events such as 4ORCE in Birmingham, System Shock in Shropshire and Collision..
Slimify D has also had the pleasure of appearing on the line-up to one of Belgium's biggest nights, Cityflow in Antwerp and has also played alongside big names such as Shy FX, Drumsound, Harry Shotta, SP:MC, Aries, Escape and many more..
Slimify D also co-runs Shrewsbury's biggest, free, monthly Drum&bass event - Mass Effect
More recently Slimify D and Pixel have been collaborating on deep and rolling tracks which will feature on Surface Audio in the coming months, this set will show off just how diverse this MC can be!
