were u goin for a dischordant style?
not particularly my thing but thionk i can see what ur after.
i think the drums could do with thickening, would prob help main synth

I wrote the basis of this tune years ago... dont really know what I was goin for, just liked the sounds. Could you give me a lil more detail on thickening the drums? Ive always thought that the drums were pretty thick, but maybe im missing something.

i dunno jus for me i can hear the highpassed cymbal stuff and the ride is really clear but it doesnt sound complete. its jus my opinion tho at the end of the day. if i was workin on it i would add some more hi hats, but take them from a break so u can work a groove. the individual hi hat hits u got atm give it a bit of a static feel.
if u dont wanna use another break, u could try keeping the individual arrangement of the hi hat hits, but just experiment with pitch/velocity changes to make it a bit more natural and less repetitive? not sure if thats any help to you...

like i said tho its jus my opinion, others may love it!

yeh i see what u lot mean.DRums are missing something, i think its the snare, mayby more shuffle, more hi hats etc

good idea tho, like the strings!
