Hey man!

The sidechained pad sounds really nice, and is synergistic with the beat.

Regarding the bass, I'd personally opt for a neurofunk, or perhaps more processed and less simplistic-sawtooth sounding, sound. Similarly, given the stop-start feeling groove you have going with the beats, I'd also try shorter, interrupted note patterns (where there are spaces/pauses between phrases) instead of continuous note playing.
 
nice effort, bass isnt really working with the percussion imo, like the yaw on the end of the phrases, need more interesting things like that going on, but not the same one repeated to much, get sum nice wobbly filters on that reese aswell to bounce off the perc n this'll b tasty, keep at it!
