My second ever dnb track and I think I'm getting the hang of it. Also quite proud of this one and how the mix turned out although I'm sick as a dog at the moment so let me know if anything is out.

    Enjoy.

Cheers mate. Can anyone confirm that the mix is a bit bass heavy? I think I might've over shot the volume on the softer kick.

strong melody. strong beat. really hits home.

not bass heavy atall and i use a sub.

felt a little clustered after the bassline dropd and i had to sit back for just a sec to understand what was going on because there was a few too many layers...

personally i would cut out some of the higher layers when the bassline is first dropped, as it exagurates the depth of the bassline in contrast with the melody. then i would bring the melody back in to build up over the bassline.

other than that cant fault you really. very strong melody. very strong production. clear ideas.

you know, i was gonna suggest some more drum layers, but the more i listen to this, it just sounds complete to me. i might say add a bit of shimmer/shake to the opening kit, but when the bass hits it all just seems to sit right.

excellent effort. as soon as i have time to figure out how to follow someone on soundclound, i might start with you!
