    Hello,

Check out this new tune :

    song " Pace-Setter (o_O) " on
    http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=464231

I am still learning DnB, and am looking for some kind of critique ( good or otherwise ). Does it suck, off completely? Needs work w/composition/mastering/concept? I am open to all comments. Thanks,

The tempo suggests something slower than modern drum'n'bass. Breakbeat or breaks or whatever.

But i'll put down some pointers anyway. Your break is snapping a little there, you could re-cut it and add a tiny fade-out on each hit. There's good tips on phase problems and cutting on the production forum here.

The background is solid, good sound design but it gets repetitive after a while. maybe drop some elements out and bring similar things in. In dnb at least its usual to have only the drums and the bass going against each other at some point.

    Thanks a lot man,

That definitely make sense what you are saying. For some reason, I never considered swapping out elements for something similar ( in the same sequence, or variation thereof ). And I will have to work with getting rid of the pops.

    Peace,
