New series of The Sopranos

    just started showing in the US, the first episode is available for DL on mininova.

    last series was a bit mood, hopefully this series will be the best yet as apparently it's the last one they're gonna make.

    Havent they aired the first 8 episodes in USA before one of the writers got ill, so out of courtsey to the family, they stopped running it??? :scally:

    pretty sure the first 8 have been on in UK, as ive defo seen em

    they have shown series 6 in england, which only had 12 episodes... they have just shown ep 13 from the 6th series ( ep 78 ) in the US

    Just so you're all clear on this - series six, the last, was split into two parts. Episodes 1-12 are the first part and episodes 13-20 are the second part. There is not going to be a series 7.

    love this show, watched ti from the beggining

    Thats correct. Kinda weird i know, but the show has been on & off the air since 1999. And has only really completed 6 seasons out of the 8 years it has been on the air. The reason for the hiatus's is because of issues with contracts & salaries for some of the key actors like James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano). I am glad to see that all the important actors got what they needed to carry on with the show and the writing on the show has never let up, and continues to deliver. I am sure that the craziest is yet to come in the next 8 episodes.
