Hello there as you can prob tell i'm a real new into all of this stuff. I'm hoping i'll learn alot on here:)

So my question, I want to start making some drum and bass type songs, think black sun empire. So what i'm wondering is what's the best program to make this kind of style?

    Ableton? Cubase? Another?

I've tried using fruityloops but I find it very hard to get the sounds i'm after, like I said i'm new to all this stuff.

Look forward to hearing some replies.

not used fruity personally but people do and great results. spor for instance is a prime example. if u like black sun empire you will prob like spor too. try searching you tube for tutorial videos for using fruity, i dont think a change in software will help much if ur new to making music

    Cheers for the quick reply.

Would you recommend getting a midi keyboard/ other hardware devices? Or should i just get used to the program before splashing out?
