and by jingo, can tis man deliver. it is flirting wit perfection, for someone trying to do an innovative album in a very strict genre. its like xmas if youre a wrest fan, all of what makes him truly special is on this album, and Lurker of Chalice is evident with an almost shoe gaze bm type vibe in the middle of the nauseating left hand path insanity. oh and on this one, he as taken to death metal growling, which works beautifully. the song at around 53 minutes is heart rendingly rendingly bbeautiful. ok kiss kiss im off to a b-day ting for some girl, dont ask, yall take care now ok and have a great saturday night!

I told you about thorns ;)
if you haven't already, check out satyricon - rebel extravaganza which was made around the same time

666 international is my favourite, the new album is amazing, its more in style with their older albums, less industrial, more black metal/ prog rock.

whoa. im one and a half song in and mind = blown. the music is incredible. the vocals take some getting used to, i would like a little more of the bm shriek aesthetic.

black metal and prog, scandinavias two greatest gifts to humainty. im so happy he didnt pursuit the electronic thing any further, because back when he did it on the first album, that meant to incorporate sampled breakbeats with some jungle programming, but today, it means to dubstep. even anaal nathrakh drops a sick dubstep intro on their latest album, but they are so good they get away with anything and be that as it may, it is not something i want to hear any more of, not from them or anyone else either. noone.

me too man, took me a little and the album is not loose songs after each other, its not interchangeable standalone tunes in a row, this is an album in the true sense of the word, its a concept piece, with one building momentum for the other, setting the scene, etc, i mean a saxamaphone is nothing new in bm, but you cant say its been done very often or that its very easy to pull off, and here its like it wouldnt be complete without the sax, if you know what i mean
