Alright everyone. Been producing (as a hobby) for about 13 years under the name W.I.L.F. Used to produce techno and house until I discovered the more abstract side of the scene. Always had a love of the scene since around 92/93. Listened to all the changes. Thought I would give it a go. Produced a few tracks over the past few months. Done a few DnB, experimental and abstract kind of tracks. I'll try and be active as much as possible. listening to what everyone else is doing.

    Latest one is Motion Transmission

When I get back from work tonight I'll have good listen to what's going on.

    Cheers

    Wilf (newbie) :)

It can take a while to get any replies here, people listen but dont post.

I like the song you posted but i think the intro is a bit too long. Its nice and relaxing though.

Thanks Project 7. Appreciate your time. I agree. The intro is too long.

Sounding real deep and nice, but i miss the snare?
And the pad cming in around 2:30 is sounding pretty ut of place in my opinion

I did try and fit a snare in. Just could not make it work. Spent about 4 hours trying to.

The snare is there but it is very very quiet and not really that distinguishable (sp?) to the bass drum. I agree with the pads, but i think if they were made a little quieter they would fit in a lot better.

EDIT: Well sounds more like a cymbol / snare type thing :p

    Richie nice one.

Wilkinz. Use Ableton + a couple of VSTs that I have used for a while. Cheers for the comment.

You got some nice effects there, some glitchy noises and what not so it sound quite full, but the structure of the song is imo off, you need to step back and decide what is the intro, the main part, elevation or drop and then outro. I think the song is also too long, so it becomes quite repetitive despite the fact that you have a lot of nice movement in the sounds. I would suggest for you to create a minimal beat and include it in the main part, so it will sound more distinguished from the rest of the song.

Overall nice work, just need to work on structuring imo
