Now 15 releases strong, globetrotting Dj Silver’s Nemesis Recordings imprint enlists the talent’s of one of DNB’s fastest growing stars: Rawtee. Covering both sides of the spectrum, Rawtee weaves together a single that will no doubt please the box of any style DNB Dj. As the title suggests. “Battery” is just that, a pure bruising rinse-out complete with violent samples, flash fire breaks and a 2 part Reece/LFO bassline that smacks you upside the head when you least expect it. This IS a rewind track. The flip is just as strong with Rawtee’s musically stylized homage to his hometown of Miami with, “Biscayne Boulevard”. This track has been burning up dancefloors since WMC 2009 and features lush strings, a running breakbeat, creamy rhodes stabs and a bassline that borders between rough and relaxing as it’s melody is most infectious.
