Needles with good high end

I currently have Stanton 500 V3s and am looking for a stylus / cartridge combo that has really good high end response.

Also do more expensive needles actually make much difference or are my 500s decent enough anyway? Has anyone noticed much of an improvement when moving away from the Stanton 500s?
