Nice tune! But I think you should not make it as remix: replace the vocal with pads, violins or something else similiar, because if you want to put the vocal in the beat you gonna have a baad time..If you still want to keep it, slice it to little phrases, 2-3 words and then you will be able to fit it better in the beat.
