Need Some Advice

Whats up people Im getting a new PC in about 2 weeks & I need a decent soundcard recommended can any1 suggest a good option?
Got about £200 to spend.

back to the question:

in that link given above, i can see why you'd be tempted to go for the ST Audio DSP24 Media7.1... but i would reccomend against getting an ST Audio card - terrible stability is all you ever hear about them things...

http://www.studiospares.com/viewproducts.asp?cid=2451&ctitle=PCI RECORDING&p=1&gid=4 try this link instead.... if you're budget can stretch to £250.... have a good look at the M-Audio Delta 1010lt.... otherwise.... probably the delta 66 is the next best option £210.

also have a look at the Echo Mia Midi.... http://www.digitalvillage.co.uk/dv/aproduct.asp?id3=6380 it looks pretty good and ive heard only good things about the echo mia range.

AND... the marian marc 8 looks like a good bargain... 8 ins and 8 outs for £200.... very nice!! (the mia has 2 in 2 out)

Just remeber that the 10/10lt takes it power from your chip which means less power for channels
