Need help layering kicks/snares (Liquid/Funk Style)

I really like Netsky's kicks and snares. They are very punchy and I like the way they sound. I've always been more a techno/trance guy and never really layered drums before. But since I want to get into more dnb/liquid funk I have noticed the vast majority of drum samples are simply not punchy enough. So if someone could give me a hand, I'd be very grateful, thanks :)

This is an example of the style of drums I'm striving for...

Samplepacks, vengeance, loopmasters etc have all you need, if you want to layer it's pretty easy. Find a sample that has good low, find a sample with good high end, cut shitty freq's, route to a bus -> compress if needed

try these, recommended

The Friction & Icicle pack sounds too minimal to me. The K-Tee pack sounds pretty good though. Nice and punchy.
