    easy all,

    im new to all this i have dj'd for years but really want to start producing.

    i have got a copy of reason 4 just sat on my laptop.

    so basically im a complete and utter novice treat me like a idiot is there any guides to beta structures drop points/mastering ext.....

    any help would be greatly apreciated

    First, there is no need to post the same thing three times in the same forum.

    Other that, my advice for you is to search the forum. There is a search function, try that FIRST and if after that you have any specific questions, ask away. Not 3 times though.

    right... ignore the negative comments! best bet to get to grips with drums first, a sample pack like danny bird will supply you with decent individual instrument hits, as well as various breaks and full loops to play...

    then type in drum and bass masterclass into you tube - i recomend the sub focus and juggernaut stuff for a beginer...

    synths are a practice thing... you will never 'get' them, but you will progress and evolve (not a bad ting)

    and finally enjoy!

    Buy a book called Reason 4 POWER.

    I study it when I'm on the throne.

    Also, search the forums.

    it that just for begginers of reason, because i got a book called "propeller heads reason 4 tips and tricks" and it was shit, i read the whole book and i already knew everything in it lol.

    i want a book that is gonna push my wisdom of reason even higher
