getting an ipod is pretty daft considering what a creative or even generic brand mp3/4 player costs and is capable of today.
point is most people have it in their phone, nobody carries around a satnav, walkman, camera, watch, alarm clock, calculator, agenda and phone any longer,
its all in one these days, with touchscreen. you probably already have it all in your iphone, or whatever brand of smartphone you probably own if you are indeed on the level of gadgetry that i think.
i however make a fine point out of separating the five or however many that was. i dont wear a watch (turned out water proof is not the same as water resistant, imagine that, the damn thing was by a diving brand), never needed gps, but i do have a phone which i use for alarm and clock. possibly a bit of calling and sms. but i just bought an mp3 player, generic brand, its awesome.
touchscreen and a big enough screen to watch films on is the worst idea ever, imagine if you sit wrong on the bus or bust a fake move on the street, thats your ass if that screen breaks. and they do break, easy.

got me a zune hd. tough little fucker. music, awesome quality vids, pics, radio, podcasts, audiobooks, apps and wifi. Has a higher quality DAC (digital audio converter) than the ipod too.
I bought it mainly because everyone has an ipod, (pretty much no one in uk has them as theyre us and canada exclusives) and i wanted to be a bit individual, turns out one of the best purchases i ever made.

no they dont, i got four and whilst you couldnt fit all your dvds and frank zappa colletion in flac format on there you can fit something like 20 albums. come on dude 20 is good unless youre going travelling in india for six months or whatever, if you can be arsed with swapping content on your mp3 every now and again i think its adequate, and even if i had 49302950 TB on my mp3 id still only listen to round ten albums and still change them every week or so.

this is true, i listen to mine mainly for running so i have loads of dnb sets on there, like all the inno in the dam ones from last year etc and they all take up a fair old space. but spending 109 on an i pod does seem a bit mad

thanks for ur input :)
