a good freeware vst for extracting vocals from the backing track ???

theres the analog-x plug that removes vocals. results vary, its a bit hit and miss. i always wondered if you couldnt just modify the code on that plug so that it dumps the data it removes in a wav?

never tryed this before myself but it looks quite simple..gotta have the right instrumental tho

very hard skill to master i'm told, it's very very time consuming

the best thing to do is prob use waves progs i reckon to filter things out to exact frequencies
