    Anybody been watching this series?

    Old Series: http://www.five.tv/programmes/documentaries/nature-shock

Edit: Can't find a link for the new series...

Had withdrawls from fresh Natural History programmes, due to the lack of Attenborough material & Inside Natures Giants finishing...

Was pleasantly surprised, judging by C5's usual programme quality...

Last one I watched was about Squid & the population boom they're currently having, very interesting.

Especially when they put a camera up a live Squids pooper for the 1st time on T.V.

The programme with the Whale killing the Great White is unbelievable!

    :D

Matey in the programme suggested Squid Mc Nuggets.

I'd be in that, Squid is awesome.

genetically the squid is the most different thing on the planet from humans. the big ones are as intelligent as house cats. the biggest eye in the animal kingdom is on the gigantic octopus, bout the same size as a handball, do you understand how big the rest of the animal must be? i think we must face the fact that they do not belong here, they are not of earthly descent and must be exterminated before they rise.

Mate, when they put the camera up a live ones pooper it was crazy, they're so alien its almost unbelieveable, even after watching these sorts of programmes the majority of my life & more recently, the inside naturers giants series where they dissect a different animal each week in depth...

They have 3 sets of gills which can operate in any type of water & they have a heart for each set of gills.

But just the layout of its organs & the way you could see it change its pigmentation at a cell level from inside was bonkers.

    They're vicious fuckers though.

its got three hearts. surely thats all the reason we'd ever need to get rid of them. did you know the suction cups have barbs on them? like teeth? and with the discovery of the newest 11 elbowed deep sea octopus it seems all the more urgent

They can launch the teeth from the suction cups out at ya too like projectiles!

You should watch this man, alot of the stuff I knew already, about them attacking people, hunting in packs etc.

But they way they're breeding & evolving to live in salt/freshwater & desimating the stocks of fish that we not only eat, but literally rely on is silly...

Everybody needs to go out & eat Squid this weekend.

we need to support the sperm whale. its the squids natural enemy. i think most big underwater creatures with teeth eat squid. wonder who would win between the giant octopus and a great white shark
