Hi,
I signed up to the forums a couple of weeks ago, so far I've just been lurking around, reading all the info there is on here. I'm starting to mix DnB. I've never done it before, but have a handful of mates who have been doing it a fair ammount of years to lend a hand and offer advice (one being DJ nuera on here).
After about 2 months of ummming and ahhhing over different brands of turntables I came to the conclusion it would be Technics or nothing. I've managed to get myself some mint second hand 1210's from a friend of mine
I'm now just waiting until next pay day to get myself a cheapo £100 mixer to start on, and some active speakers.
I work in the TV and film industry and have worked on various sound desks and sound editing software, mixing audio, etc, so I think I'm a few baby steps ahead from being a total beginner, but any advice is appreciated as I am a bit of a noob with vinyl and mixing music.
