You've got some good ideas there, but I strongly suggest you work on the mixdowns. On several occasions in various tracks the bass is cutting out the kick, and overall they mostly sound muddy, too much mid range in your frequencies.

But for 17, you're definately on the right track. And although most people will say a music production course is a waste of time as they mould you into a certain way of thinking, and narrow your creative ideas, I'm also sure you will learn alot about the mixdown side of things, which is where you need to work.

Keep it up, and welcome to the community

Suggestion 1: Don't post 67 tunes at once cos I feel lazy just looking at the links.
Suggestion 2: Use soundcloud or something other than gimpyshare cos I don't want to play poker thanks.
Suggestion 3: Compare your tunes to something you really like and honestly ask yourself if it sounds as good. If not then figure out why and you'll be nearly there.
Suggestion 4: Naturalise some Brazillians in a hurry and you might do ok in the World Cup.
    Peace.

right on ur new tune (the one that says incomplete after it) i cant hear the drums man? im like wait... is there any drums? no... i think maybe somebody was playing along on some shoe boxes down the street or something but there wasnt any drums in the track....

all the sounds in your track are just mashing together, and it gives an effect to the listener like trying to understand 20 people shouting at you simultaniously

it sounds like you have taken my old mixdown method which is, turn this up, turn this up, now i cant hear that so turn it up, now i need to turn the others up more, then turn that up again to match it... basically everything ends up muting itself coz u crank everything to the max... and then you cant even hear what u were doin in the first place!!

    mixdowns yea

:) i know what u guys mean with mixdown , i keep getting muddy tracks . where the songs are too busy . need to practice alot more witht the mixing and mastering , oh and you were saying with the put everything up , i put everything down then put up the kick and bass and snare but not so the mixer goes into the red. busy on a song now , will get soundcloud now actually. need to use EQ better and compressor properly.

im in a class with other guys and they quite slow so im learning faster than them , and they still stuck on the basics :( im getting bored .

anyway thanks for the feedback , now ive got something to improve on woop.

will put this new song soundcloud.

thanks again see you round :)

You've definately got the creative talent needed, but again I felt that this tune was let down by the muddiness of it all. You have far too much midrange going on, everything is battling for space in the frequency spectrum. Your hats need to be much clearer too.

    Your mistaking loudness for clarity.

You can have the volume of the hats pretty low and they can still sound clear if you eq them properly.

Try putting your hats on a seperate mixer channel, apply a parametric eq to that channel, then cut out everything below about 3khz, also maybe raise the eq around 5khz a tiny amount to give a bit of sparkle and shimmer to the hats.

This should greatly enhance your hats.

Also, do the same with your kick drums, and cut out any frequencies between 1.5khz - 5khz, and also cut out any frequencies under 44hz as most sound systems wont play anything that low.

ok cool , compress EQ :)

ok , so cut more out of the hihats and more out the kick . i tried layering the hihats , but i think i must get them in a smaller frequency range , will try lessen the frequency range , and ill upload the new one .

thanks for the help . really appreciate it

It's not that quick man. Take your time.

First. Save this project as it is, before you fuck it up, because the ideas are good.
Second. Come back to it when you get a feel for your eq-ing and your levels. (Probably that won't be tomorrow)
