Everyone has a right to privacy, famous or not, some people choose to post certain things on social media sites but that doesn't mean they 'have no right to privacy'. Stupidest thing ive ever read.
certain things can be done to help themselves... like an alcoholic say he has the right to a new liver...
yes, people can post less about where they are going and who they are with but that's their choice isn't it
isnt a life devoid of privacy the direct consequence of having chased media attention all your life? whats strange about the fact that you cant choose when the cameras are aimed at you?
is my logic flawed and overly simplistic here, you know, willard, famous is a pretty weird state of being, dont know why youre sticking up for these idiots unless... are you prince harry??
People have a right to share what they want to share, if someone willingly shares a lot of their information with people it doesn't mean they have no right to privacy.
Say for example an actor tweets a lot about where he went for dinner etc but is into weird shit in the bedroom it doesn't mean that should be made public (unless they want it to me made public, see Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian I guess)
I'm not sticking for anyone, just saying everyone has a right to privacy (but they have to want it, of course)
See what I'm saying? Of course you do
dont you try to big boy me big boy.
i dont think you get to choose, you cant have a little bit, its either fame or not fame and even then its difficult to find real privacy.
you look like prince harry, only smaller.
So if you became famous you would lose all your rights to privacy? Where's the line? Camera and microphone in your car? Bedroom? What does famous even mean?

Yes, its 'difficult to find real privacy' but you don't lose the right to try and have it just because you're good at football
so what we need moral police like saudi to enforce these petty "rights"
also he didn't straight up say no right to it that's more the dm's title but what he says in the article makes sense... its brought upon by themselves... he states he is fine because he doesnt walk around show boating and gloating about who he is... and he has his privicy its more saying why fuck should we care and feel sorry for someone who does something to themselves
If you think privacy is a petty right then there is something wrong with you.
Yeah some of them bring it on themselves but they choose to share their information with people, they don't have to and they should still get to decide what is shared and what isn't. Do you think it's ok for cameramen to be camped up in trees trying to get photos of actresses in their homes?
tarantino knows how to deal with these filthy media types
nah apparently he's doing it wrong (see above), he should let paparazzi hound him because he isn't allowed privacy, he's famous you see
haha no no he should be left alone, like britney and all the other footballers who deserve all our compassion for being so brutally hounded in the bedroom, by fame. horrible horrible fame.
Thread should be renamed in D-Jhepz and Shatner´s Bassoon official breakup thread.
DEAL WITH IT
i sure hope "sir" elton john is involved in a co-dependent relationship with an abusive small asian boy he bought off a saudi
I think the point he is making is that if you post something publicly how can you expect it to be private...
'Shatner' he wasn't saying 'no right to privacy' he was just repeating the now age old point that if you court the media (like Jordan does) you can't complain if they dig up an ex to slag you off ie you forgo the right to keep your private life to yourself.
Tom Hanks is the perfect counter example he stays away from the press you don't read a constant slurry of stupid stories about him and in general the press stay away they wont print scurrilous stories about baby mothers or whatever (prolly doesn't have any though).
'If you dance with the devil you should expect to get burned' was the point being made.

Just out of interest William would you arrest people for prying into other people's diaries?
