My first sampling..

Hey guys.. This is my first atempt at cutting a sample and looping it.. its not perfect at all and i just throw some drums on there. I dont know how to make drums sound good yet. Anyway I was plesantly suprised by my early efforts and wanted pass them on to see what you think.
Its not DnB!

Not bad at all, I have a Hiphop background myself and this sounds pretty good! Love the snare!
Maybe a bit more bass or some violins would be nice.

i agree its definatly bare bones but im pretty new to sampling _ infact i learend how to do it from a video i saw an hour before then went out and found something i could cut up haha..

The snare is actually 2 snares. a high end and a low, bigger square sounding one. I pitched the low one up and the high one down and got an alright result.
