that I feel like a loser after playing 2 songs because I can't mix Gwen Steffani with some other shite because of bullshit dj skills. Mostly because when I see that I'm supposed to play a part from the first song, my automatic reaction is to switch the fader to the left, not press a button. Which results in me fucking the 'mix' up.

I'm a crap dj technically but Dj Hero makes me feel even worse of a one.

That said, I played a pretty mean gig last week to a live audience, the culminating in a mosh pit off the Serial Killaz Junglist remix which I though was much too cheesy to pull off but it worked.

So, back to what I said a very long time ago, its easier to dj off a vinyl or cd deck than off Dj Hero - which is completely unlike the case with Guitar Hero.

Dustek off to continue his PhD.

I'm total shit at it as well mate, i'm okay for a bit but when i have to use the fader as well as press the buttons and then scratch it all goes tits up.

In the time I'd need to get very good at this game I could probably teach myself all the tricks on the Dj Yoda DVD (a couple of weeks). It would take me a decade to get good enough to pull Metallica songs properly on a guitar.

Big up old skool crew, off to listen to some old skool shite and study.
