I know we've got some Hip Hop heads on here. I recorded some lyrics for the first time ever today, can anyone critique me?

"Flanneur; flar-nur, noun; 1. One who strolls about aimlessly; a lounger; a loafer. Those in persuit of the disinterested, artistically inclined wanderer of the city, of what they call 'city watching'.

Internet debut for my hangover choked voicebox. Yes, I know my right eye half closes when I'm hanging.
Does anyone know if that 'Life in the beast so we all gotta break a bit' bar is from someone else? It slipped in an I wasn't sure. Jam Baxter or Brotherman maybe?
    "

PS: Don't show that to anyone. It's kind of a secret.

Haha it's easier to show this stuff to people you don't know to be honest.

But yer, cheers man! I know what you mean about the flow. I've always written but never really tried to spit any of it so that's something I need to work on.

Bars are cool, liking "an advance doctor in medicating fiction/pHd in controlling your soul prescription." Rhyming pattern could be switched about a bit though, get some rhymes within bars an stuff.

Haha safe, that's definitely the first time I've been called mesmerizing.

I'm just suprised no ones commented on my spontaneous umpa lumpa singing haha.

You need to re-record it so so it sounds clearer. A lot of the lines get lost cos you dont project properly

Flow's cool. I always think most people who rap in this country all kinda sound the same though

With more work, could be good

    Oompa loompas? Useless munters.
Too much fake tan. 'I fell asleep an Charlie done thiiis!'
Serves them right for eating too much chocolate.
Now they're homeless on the streets, gotta shottalot.
    What.
Does it offend you me rhyming about a film about a paedo?
I'll put you in speedos an make you choke. Deep throat.

Why the oompa loompa obsession and homoerotic prison talk today, I have no idea.

im the same as you , i have been writing a long time ... but never got down to recording and getting the right projection ..

So who’s the Judas in the painting now his person has gone?,
with nothing out waiting but a bird and its song,
And he’s singing out of tune above the serpents who run
from the Seven Sun Sermon stuck a worm in ‘is gums,
so whats it all worth? dust an Urn with a sum,
theres another givin birth fetch the servants a gun,
    ya better run,
Forest run, with ya legs in braces,
Moves constrained to a payslip chase with a snake suit status,
he tried skippin thru the chicken coup,
    clucking out a different tune,
soon lickin wounds ina belly of the devil and the deep blue,
melody repeats its joe blacks theme tune …
