Okay so thought id do a cheeky little bootleg of this as i love this tune but i think the drums are toss in the original.

What y'all think?

The original is just too good, but ur drums are nice, the synth introduced @ 1:30 ain't bad too. However the drums are too loud and don't rly fit the tune, they are well made but they'd fit something more tech-steppy imo.

Hmm, i wouldnt say the drums sound techsteppy mainly. Id say the snare does for sure though, and it is a bit too loud in the mix. Maybe ill change it, its still a work in progress of course. i might even get rid of the mutt bits.

didnt hear the first snare so i dunno what changed

it sounded a bit techy to me too... the drums sound a lil harsh on the tender vocals. maybe some light compression on the kick/snare to soften them up a lil

you should bring out the hats that come in at 1:08 a lil more, had to listen hard to notice them (i'm thinkin some parallel compression on the whole break but whateverrrr)

where did you get the stems may i ask?!

Okay, i'll try and soften the break up and get it sounding a bit more natural. I didnt have any stems, just chopped the breakdown from the tune and added more piano of my own n stuff
