something i have been thinking about for a while now. It's how it sounds, just like how you build up a tolerance to drugs. Let's say you smoke/listen strain A (DNB) for 2 weeks straight, then you smoke/listen strain B (hip hop). You would probably get higher if you smoked strain B because you have built up a tolerance to that strain. You can probably see what I am trying to say by now. Do you think music works in a similar way to drugs in terms of tolerance? It seems very interesting how when I wake up in the morning and crank out some tunes they usually sound a lot better (more euphoric?) in the morning compared to the evening? What is sleep's function on the enjoyment of music? Conversely, sometimes when I have lack of sleep music sounds better? Opinions/experiences/views, please.
