In June we're taking over a unique space in Hackney for a day & night party with our biggest lineup to date! We're offering one lucky DJ from within Europe the chance to play TWO sets at this all day event (one day & one night). Check out some of the prizes:

- 2 x 1 hour DJ set at MTA All Day (one day and one night set).
- A DJ set at another future MTA night.
- For European DJs we can pay for your flights!

How to enter

On 21st June 2014 MTA Records will be taking over a unique space in Hackney for a unique Day & Night experience with some of the biggest names in bass music for a one-off party where headliners are unannounced.

We are offering one lucky DJ the chance to show the city what you have got at one of London’s most hyped about events. Not only that you’ll get to DJ twice at this all day event, but you get a whole load more!

How to enter

Submit your mix which should be no more than an hour long.
The mix should reflect the sound of the label, and musically must fit with an MTA night (The music genres House, Bass, Drum n bass & garage are all accepted).
Title the mix as “MTA Summer 2014 Mix Competition – DJ name"
Tag the mix: "MTA Summer 2014 Mix Competition". If you fail to tag the mix correctly, your entry may be missed.
Include an accurate tracklist
Use the cover art provided here for your mix.
Use the cover photo provided here and set it as your Facebook timeline photo. Click “Edit description” and insert the link to your mix here. Leave this as your cover photo until the competition winner is announced.
Also invite all of your friends to the Facebook event.
Please send a screenshot of the cover photo (your FB profile) by emailing info@Londonwarehouseevents.co.uk with a link to your mix and Facebook profile. Subject saying “I’ve entered the MTA Summer competition.” Also, send a screenshot of you sending an invite to your friends with this.

Judging

Entrants will be judged on factors including (but not limited to) number of plays, favorites, positive feedback, track selection, originality and technical ability.
Mixes must get at least 100 plays for the shortlist and we are looking for DJs who show commitment.
Due to the number of entrants that these competitions get, we will not be able to listen to all of your mixes. However we will listen to all mixes with over 50 plays so share with your friends, on your facebook or wherever you can!
Ideally entrants will be promoting the mix across Mixcloud and on social media to their friends and associates. Using the cover photo is a quick and easy way to let your mates know you have entered.
The winner will be carefully picked out by MTA Records.

seems its one of those "if it hasn't got x plays or x likes we wont listen" comps.

Hate them, can't they be done on ability, not how much of a social media bumder you are.
 
Doesn't give a deadline? It's more getting free advertisment they're going for seeing as you have to properly spam your fb to be eligible :D Won't be going anyway as I have a ticket for the Hospital BBQ. Shame both events coincide.

June 13th! Also we go on until 4am ~ late so you can always purchase a night time ticket when available ;)
