I'd not spend any less that a few hundred, but you got to get what you can afford

Thats the thing, had a few mates round last night, having a mix, beer, blah blah.

Speaking to a guy into production and shit about speakers and he tells me get monitors as the sound is crisper. (Speakers i got are fucked and it aint nice listening to my tunes on them, i need nice sound)

Nice one for the input, but im buying a deck stand too so i cant really spend shedloads. 150 tops.

for £100 get some good headphones like the Beyerdynamic DT 990, miles better sound quality compared with monitors worth 3-4 times more.

ye, but the HD 25 are as honest as a tabloid's front page.
i assume you want the monitors for production. if so, the senheissers will not give a clear idea of what your tune sounds like.

Not for production gordo. As per post above, someone threw me a line about monitors having a better sound then hooking speakers up.

I know shit about stuff like this so im after some ideas for buying some.
