Monitors problem - will only play very quiet sound out of right speaker

Yeah so i got some M-Audio Studiophile AV30 monitors and it only plays really quietly out of the right speaker... and that isn't even the control speaker i mean wtf?

can anyone offer assistance?

they're active monitors - i think... is that the one with an amp inside? :| cause thats it... the ones with amps inside

praps u have a faulty amp powering that channel?
