Monitor Speakers

Anyone got any suggestions on monitor speakers for producin drum and bass?

i was lookin at the Alesis monitor 1 mk2s. any good?

i want sum that will also be good for playin music and not just for masterin.

any help appreciated.

I've got the Mk2 actives and they work just fine for the way I work. Not the best in the bass department but you won't get much better from a 5.5" driver.

do they link up to a standerd amp with wire?

do they play back music good aswell cos i wanna link everything upto em including my decks for mixing. i suppose i could add a sub.

nice to see another from hampshire!
