That overdriven guitar or cello or whatever is overpowering everything else, there seems to be little correlation between what's happening with the drums and that lead sound, think of the different elements as different band members; they all play their different instruments, but they're all playing together.

That lead is hella' cool man! But as ape said, you need to get your sounds to blend in better with each other. Gather up on some EQ knowledge, where to boost certain sounds and how to give each sound it's own space in the freq spectrum. There are plenty of those threads on here!

Other than that it's a pretty cool tune. Very original!
