Modifying a hook/lead

Im working on that remix competition for a twisted individual tune. Right now I wanna change hook/lead around a bit, so that it's not too much the original one, but im out of ideas. I've added effects and switched the pitch around a bit, but I don't think that's gonna do it. Any other ideas?

try and create a new hook along the same lines in the same key?

Thats how remixing works, u create stuff in same key/notes.

yeah i'll give it a shot.. i've tried it a bit already although it's a very slow process and most of the times doesn't work out for me

the best way to do this is using a slicer am i correct?
