Just wondering how you guys go about it (with vinyl)

say for example you wanted to mix a track at 174 with one at 170 or 172/174

best way to learn imo is

start with the pitch as slow as it will go, throw in the tune u wanna mix in after a suitable phrase

99 times out of a hundred the tune u just put in will be too slow ... so move the pitch slowly(ish) until the speed is too fast then back till its too slow then till its too fast, moving the pitch smaller distances each time so logically you will find the correct speed after a lil bit.

you'll get much quicker at it the more u practise, but i caution u, it takes a lot of practise before as so many people say "it just clicks!"
