jus moved house and the new place only has basic furniture so i've got nowhere to put my decks, not enjoying the floor mixing!

there was a thread on here a while back and a couple of ppl said they'd picked up bookcases and turned them on its side and i quite liked the idea

any one know where i can pick up a cheap surface to put my decks on?

    cheers in advance

    :ditto:

I made mine from £16 worth of wood from Trago, some wood glue, screws and a handsaw! No power tools needed...

    Does the job perfectly!

in a club i used to go to way back they had a cast concrete block which the decks sat on suspended from the ceiling by big fuckoff chains, because of the weight there was no vibration to the decks.

Try that bro, go to B&Q and get ya self some bags of concrete. lol.
just watch ya don't pull the ceiling down :)

dan, my table was from ikea, dont think it cost much, otherwise ebay.co.uk, you can get a cheap pine table for like 20 quid.

I doubt it would take the weight? i wouldn't wanna risk all my gear crashing to the floor! My good ol dad got on the case for me...1 hour later he'd whipped up some wooden thing that 7 years on im still using!!! dads garages & saws...a good combination :)
