Mixing Hip Hop + DnB

    Can ane one recommend some good fast paced hip hop songs that will go well with DNB?

    Nothing, they're completely different BPM and time signatures. I'd be very surprised if you can mix a hip hop tune into D&B flawlessly.

    hip hops half speed of dnb its pretty simple to do really
    check noizes my space for some good examples

    surely there must be a few, get a 180 BPM track and a 90 BPM hip hop song? would that not work?

    yeah it works.
    rnb tends to be about 70 bpm aswell so u can mix that with dubstep

    The only hip hop that I've heard being mixed with dnb and sounding good are these two tracks being mixed by Rich Reason at Hit and Run in manchester.. Like people have said above though It can't be that hard to beach match tunes if the bpm of dnb is just double time.. Hope this helps

    Safe for putting those vids up mate.. say a top DJ was to do something like that in the middle of his set, what would your guys reactions be?

    the best way is to mix the hiphop over a breakdown of a dnb track

    Why dont you try a hip hop instrumental, put a hip hop accapella over it, then cut out the instrumental and bring in a drum n bass tune under the accapella.
