I used kill switches when I first got it with my mixer, now i NEVER user it. As far as beherenger goes, that is true the BPM counter doesnt go over 160, i bought the djx700. nice board! but really dont worry about the BPM counter at all...

I used to live and die by the Pioneer DJM-600/500...but since I splurged and picked myself up an Allen & Heath Xone:62 and a Kaos Pad, I will never go back :)

Here is the Xone:62

Also of note, the new A&H Xone:92...which is also fly as hell lookin. My only beef with it is that the channel faders are not P&G, but it looks really clean. Nearly everything on it lights up, which is useful as hell in dark environment. Having two filter channels is also very very cool :)

That's butter
:bump:

behringer good for the price imo, but the effects sound like shit compared to good ones. kills work for techno but not dnb i rekon and the eqs aint nothing to an allen & heath. a new one i havent senn metioned on hear is the denon dnx1500 which seems pretty much like a pioneer but you can hook it up with your comp ,by usb ,and download effects n stuff.i aint used one but they look sweet as you can see.also pretty expensive so start saving.

yeah I discovered on weekend that kill-switches are great to fuck with randomly when doing quick crossfader cuts, like dropping the treble out when you cut over to a tune for one beat etc.
fun. :bounce:
carry on ...

i reckon kills are sweet, its just a matter of finding a mixer with kills, which dont produce that "click" when flicking them fast, which is the case with most mixers. well..cheap ones at least..

jeah low end ones, like beginner gemini ones or even radio shak :P lol
