Didn't realise it was 2 hours long

Wasn't incredibly keen on the opening tune, but did like the brash bass and tranquil vocals that complimented them. Wicked hearing Sentinel again in a members mix. Brings back memories and that I need to play that again. Liked the way you mixed it through the 32 bar loop with no drops, then echo switched Soul Truth out with ease :) Had liked I'm Sick since I picked it up, but only found a small handful of tunes that it sits well with. Love the steppy bleeps in that, then when the melody whispers of Monsters graces the mix before its heavy step comes in, the bounce in both tunes sits really well together. Also love that soft 'woo' in Monsters... really sets that tune off. Persecute keeps the steppy behavior going when that enters the ride. Favour that side over Aphasia.

Its Demand next in the tracklist, not Division III. But sits equally well with Persecute for a wicked mix, as you might expect from 2 Ruffhousey tunes. Was wicked hearing Acacia Avenue again in there with its crazy riff and scaled melody. Enjoyed hearing that mix go on for a little longer too as I was really feeling that :) Catacomb is such a peach on that EP. That little wine like a gate swinging in the wind is such a choice sample in that tune, not to mention the relentless step and mild melody in there too. Would have liked to hear the mix with Erase as opposed to the switch as it sounded a little like 'here's this tune, now hears that tune' but possibly personal preference. Had high hopes for Erase - Off The Cuff as they are both coarse stepping tunes, and the mix didn't disappoint. Just would have preferred Off The Cuff to come in 32 bars sooner, as Erase was easing down on its outro melody the 2nd 32 bars of that mix. Also, was waiting for Marching Cube to come in halfway through Off The Cuff's 2nd half, held off a bit, but the mix between both was... marching and pretty militant. Another fav mix in there :)

Very enjoyable hearing the relentless Piper in there complimenting the melodies in the tail end of Golden Girl. Also nice to hear the original of that, as am usually treated to the Grooverider rmx. Loved hearing that little tribal drum section just before the main hook in Deadline comes in. Had a little spin with that last night too. Brought back memories of hearing it for the first time hearing it in your mix, especially with a throwback tune like Piper. Bit chasey on Blunt - Overthinking rmx. Nice hearing Sky's Alight winding its halftime dirt out of Overthinking rmx. First members mix I have heard Reaching The Source in and sat kinda well out of Sky's Alight, both melodies easing together, bringing things together more with the introduction of RTS's beat. Also liked how you kept Sky's Alight in for a little longer in RTS's first breakdown. The way So Lonely rmx's vocals sat with the softly shuffling Sick Of It All was very nice, the way the vocals of SOIA eased back for the vocals in SL to do their work was quality with the easing down melody of SOIA.

Continuum - Betray The Present - Father all eased together effortlessly and seamlessly, and particularly enjoyed hearing a bit of shuffling Burial at the end, as it has been a fair while since I have listened to some quality Burial tunes.

33 tunes in 125 mins was a bit on the minor side if I do say. A bit different to some of the other episodes in the series. But doesn't take away from the vibe and selection of the mix, which flowed and didn't feel like a podcast. Would have had 2 x 1 hours worth if it was me, but thats just personal preference. Another great addition to the series. Makes me want to get back on the Beats & Bass series :)

Beats & Bass will return in September with episode 4 ;)

weight feedback yet again, thanks man! yeah on the tunes-to-time ratio, was just trying to keep everything smooth and focus on selection, and i think the ambient outro had something to do with that! seen as i was just letting them roll out haha. i always get the demand and division III confused damnnn, thanks for the heads up. point taken on trying to bring tunes in earlier, definitely need to up my game on that front

i think next time yeah i'll cut the stream down to an hour and keep it to one particular vibe, 2 hours is asking a lot i guess. really appreciate you listening in full mate, always nice to know people like yourself can offer detailed feedback (y)

    :) No worries mate!
Was trying to dial down the feedback, but find the words always run away & turned into a hefty chunk again.

Yeh, they were only personal things that I picked up on. Everything flowed well in there & letting tunes breath was nice. Ez
