yes dnb forum, im looking for a midi keyboard to use at home, was wondering if you kind people could give me some websites that are good on price for the quality of product.
Im going to be using reason 4 because i am studying a music technology course at college and we use reason 4 with Cuebase so it makes sense to use the same software at home as i use in college! im not rolling in the $$$$$'s but id rather spend the money on a new one instead of a second hand one! safe everybody!

If you want to really play something with it instead of just twisting knobs and one-fingering basslines, i'd recommend at least a 49 key model. A nice site to look for is www.dv24.com.

some examples of manufacturers that are known to be quality:

    E-MU
    AXIOM
    CME
    NOVATION

This is what I got and Automap is fucking immense! Search Automap on youtube and you'll see what I mean! So much compatability its untrue!

Cost me £250 but I won't need to upgrade in a very long time!

its strange but the more i read about playing keyboards/chords/progressions the harder i find it to make stuff i like. Cos im thinking too much
i think not knowing can be a bonus at times - as long as it all sounds good whats the harm.
Saying that i would love to be better at them - guess getting lessons is the way if you really want to learn quick.
    good luck man

Another vote for the Oxygen 49 here. Brought quite a while back now and it's a good solid bit of kit!
