Alright guys, I recently bought an m audio axiom 61 and a maschine mikro. buying a soundcard in the next few days but which shall i get and what cables etc do i need for them to be plugged in? thinking about plugging my novation impulse in aswell as i've just upgraded from it and might map it to different controls so it's easier to get around. so if you can take that into consideration aswell i'd be grateful. thanks :)

From what I understand, Maschine Mikro is essentially a MIDI device itself. Looks like your best approach will be simply connecting the Axiom and the Mikro via USB to your computer. Make sure you're using USB 2.0 ports as lots of people have experienced issues when attempting to use a USB 3.0 port. Adding the impulse to the setup may be a bit overkill. I would just let the Axiom handle your keys and let the Mikro handle your pads as well as knob assigments.
