Hey all. I want to get into DJing, but which way is the best to do it? MIDI controller set ups or the real thing?

midi controller is good to get into djing, because its much cheaper than real decks and gives you an good idea about mixing.

but after 2 or 3 months i would switch to real decks if you like mixing.

I would say try using traktor or something similar for a bit to see you actually like it and will stick with it, if that works out then go with some decks.

When i went to uni i bought a MIDI controller because i couldn't take my decks but i never really liked it that much and found it a lot harder than turntables. This is just my opinion but nothing beats the real thing :p
