I was just surfing Webster.com when I found this. I thought it would be of interest to some people. I had always thought Micky Finn was some sort of Micky Mouse refference:

well.. apparently his sister gave him the name..
i think one of the knowledge mags said somin about this.. the one with the ez rollers on the cover, i think beginning of the year, end of last year.. and i think she said like "mickey thin" or somethinhg, i cant really remember, but maybe it was to do with that, ill have to check, but that will take effort

Im pretty sure that his sister gave him the name for being a bit on the skinny side. He changed it around a bit and the rest is history...

That's what I heard too, from that Knowledge issue to way back in an old interiew in Eternity. My dad told me that slipping someone a mickey finn is spiking someone's drink though.
