The tune is fucking sick I love the arrangement and the overall vibe I think it could stand for some gentle EQ in but otherwise it is fantastic big ups brother

Nice vibes on this one - piano is on point. Not sure about the reverb on the vox - sounds a little tinny (singing in the bathroom) and the shuffles are a tad louder than the rest of the mix so I'd just bring them down a bit. Love the synths and progression throughout the track. Big ups!

Very nice tune! I agree that the vocals may need a reverb adjustment. I am digging the change at 3:20ish, maybe look into making that part a bit more impactful? (cuz it is sick)... overall, very Impressive.

Hey,
nice track, the arrangement is solid.
for me the kick drum is lacking a bit of low end for extra punch try bringing back some of the lower frequencies if you have rolled them off already. i find in general I'm never rolling off more than 80hz generally i stick to 50hz but i tend to use the same kick all the time ,it might be that you need to look for a new kick.
also try giving the hats a bit of groove by using subtle sidechaining to the snare i find this held bring movement to the hats and is very useful.

overall a good track just needs a few tweaks in my opinion.

thanks man. you are right. there is too much of reverb on the vox.
I just got PRO-R and it's hard to turn knobs north since it sounds so good

hi ben, the kick was stronger before NEUTRON said it should be less
I think it also fits the track well as this is supposed to be a bit of chilly roller and not smashing things apart ...
I will look at hats and snares as you suggest, indeed your input in this regards is very interesting. cheers !

@Treatem: tried to pull her out of the bathroom and put her in a hopefully less tinny room. do the vox sound better now?
@Morah: worked on drums, esp. hats (mainly EQ). also reduced much reverb on drums to get them a bit closer and punchier. better now?

personally I think version DEC14 is way louder and also sounds better than DEC8. but is DEC14 sounding clean enough as well?

its defiantly closer to what i was talking about but i think you added a little too much on the top end try and A&B it against a track from a big label with a similar style,.

thanks ben ! with top end you mean it sounds too bright? should I check high freq. ranges and turn those down?

nice tune to remix, i havent heard the original so i cant telll what is original or not (probably a good thing going in blind).

The high pitch synth notes you have.. a few of the notes sound out to me 3:19ish, a random time stamp but it just happens to be where it's at right now.

For me after the drop at about 1:19 i feel that switch up is a bit out there and unexpected,.... at like 1:25 i really like the actual sound and style of it.. i just feel it comes in a bit sudden thats all

snare sounds like it could do with a clappy or splashy layer to give it a bit more character.

I have done a FINAL version, in fact I worked on the snare/clap (layers) as you advised.
and of course brought those hats and high freq. down .. by a lot. hope it sounds better now overall, will submit as is.
